SIELE, promoted by the Instituto Cervantes and top Latin American universities, certifies Spanish proficiency through a fully digital format, with fast and reliable results. It is perfect for those who need to prove their Spanish level quickly and with international recognition, whether for academic or professional purposes.
BCNLIP is an official SIELE examination center, so you can take the test directly at our school in a comfortable and supportive environment. Through the Foundation, we offer clear information, official materials, and personalized guidance to support you throughout the process.
WHAT IS SIELE?
SIELE is the International Spanish Language Evaluation Service that certifies Spanish language proficiency through electronic means. It is aimed at students and professionals across five continents.
It is a single, multi-level exam that provides the SIELE certificate—a document that includes a score from 0 to 1000, which is the sum of the scores from the four test sections. This score corresponds to the levels established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
In this exam, you can choose which language skills you want to be assessed on.
There are four additional exam modalities based on different combinations of test sections: Reading comprehension + listening comprehension, reading comprehension + written expression and interaction, listening comprehension + spoken expression and interaction, and spoken expression and interaction.
Where and how can I register?
BCNLIP is an official SIELE examination center. You only need to book your spot with us. To check available dates and slots, feel free to contact us at siele@bcnlip.com.
When can I take the test?
Please remember to arrive at the center 15 minutes before the exam starts.
What Documentation Should I Bring on the Day of the Test?
Your access credentials on siele.org (email and password).
When Will the SIELE Results Be Available?
Within a maximum period of three weeks, you will be able to download your SIELE Certificate or Report from ‘My Page’, depending on the exam modality you completed.
