CCSE Exam
Constitutional and Sociocultural Knowledge of Spain
At Fundació BCNLIP, we believe that accessing Spanish nationality should be a supported, clear and accessible process. That’s why we inform and guide people interested in taking the CCSE test, which is required to apply for Spanish nationality by residency.
The Constitutional and Sociocultural Knowledge of Spain (CCSE) test, managed by the Instituto Cervantes, evaluates basic knowledge of Spain’s legal, political, cultural, and geographical systems. Passing this test is one of the key requirements for obtaining Spanish citizenship.
BCNLIP is an official CCSE examination center, meaning you can take the test directly at our school in a familiar and supportive environment. Although we do not offer specific preparation courses, the Foundation provides clear information, official materials, and personalized support to help you face this stage with confidence.
Who Should Take the CCSE Exam?
This exam is for individuals over 18 years old who wish to obtain Spanish nationality. However, the following are exempt:
· Minors
· People with disabilities or learning difficulties
· Those who have completed and passed Compulsory Secondary Education in Spain
